Toughened Glass FAQ and Delivery Information

Bespoke Glass Online has now expanded its delivery areas to cover the whole of Mainland England and most of Wales. Whether you live in Cornwall , Manchester, London or South Wales, we can now get glass to you with our professional delivery service.

The only difference with remote areas is that we may need a few extra days to fulfil your order. We can, in very special circumstance deliver to Scotland, but this would need special courier services agreed in advance ?

Our service is designed to deliver to kerbside with one professional driver, who will need customer assistance to offload heavy orders, unless additional drivers have been organised or agreed in advance.

Ultimately the client is expected to ensure that sufficient manpower is available to enable the smooth offloading of the order.

Where possible please let us know of any issues that may concern you to help us ensure a problem free delivery.

What are the normal delivery areas in the Uk
that Bespoke Glass cover?

What is the expected delivery times for a piece of glass?
From the confirmation of payment we normally deliver within 10 - 21 days of your order. If there is a problem with the manufacturing process or due to unforeseen circumstances i.e. Bad weather or Traffic delays, we will keep you updated with any change.

What notice do we give before delivery?
We generally try to confirm a delivery date in advance to suit our UK delivery schedule and will need to know if this is not suitable for you. This will generally need to be confirmed via email.

How many men will deliver the glass?
Since 2017 we have only operated a single man and a van service to curbside.
Our drivers will generally be flexible on moving the glass from curbside, but this is only undertaken on the understanding that any issues arising from this are at the complete liability of the customer. This is because our insurance and liability only covers the delivery to curbside. Additionally, the client should ensure that there is sufficient manpower available to offload the glass safely from our delivery van.

Can you fit the glass for me?
We are suppliers of glass only and as such you will need to find either a glazing specialists in your local area or we could help in finding you a contractor.

Will you take my glass upstairs to the bathroom?
Our delivery drivers are not insured to carry glass upstairs, downstairs or away from curbside. We will, if possible, endeavour to place the glass in a safe area in your home although we only guarantee a kerb side delivery.

How many pieces of glass can your van take?
Dependent on the size of glass and the weight, our delivery service can carry up to 20 averaged sized 10mm glass panels. Please note large orders may attract  some additional charges.

Can I have holes drilled into the glass?
We can drill as many holes as you like into the glass. On our website we have an option to select up to five drilled holes; you will have to complement the order with a drawing, cad or email with clear instructions of where the holes are required.

Can I drill holes after the glass has been processed?
Unfortunately due to the hardening process of toughened glass you will not be able to drill holes after the glass has been hardened.

Can I cut the bespoke glass?
The glass cannot be cut once the glass has been toughened / processed.

Can I return the glass?
If the glass is damaged or scratched upon delivery then we will accept returns, otherwise no exception can be made as each piece of glass is of a  bespoke design. You must make sure and check with the delivery driver before he leaves that the glass is in good condition.

How do we take payment?
To make payment as easy as possible we have chosen to use PayPal. This means that we can take all forms of credit and debit cards, PayPal or bank fund transfers.

What happens if I am due a refund?
We will confirm in writing with you the amount of refund and then a refund will be processed via our partner within 24 hours.
